Quad’s Acquisition of Brown Printing Company Passes Antitrust Review

Hart-Scott-Rodino waiting period expires; FTC eakes no action

Quad/Graphics, Inc. and Brown Printing Company jointly announced that the waiting period for antitrust review of the proposed combination of the two companies expired at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 19, with no action taken by the Federal Trade Commission. Quad/Graphics and Brown now can move forward with their proposed sale agreement, announced on April 7. The transaction is expected to close in the next few weeks. ...
